Our story began in 2020/21, when "Evildeveloper", today's founder of Blue Ocean Studio, started developing the first small, bad tycoons. They had a lot of bugs and the graphics weren't particularly good either. First it was one tycoon, then 2, then 3, ... after a decent amount of time in 2022, he noticed that these games were being actively played and some had 20,000 visits. This motivated him and he started to set up the first Discord server, with 20 members at the beginning. After several setbacks, when he was banned from Discord and thus lost his Discord server, his 4 Discord servers actually grew to over 200 members. But in the middle of growth, he lost his Discord account again, and the whole thing started all over again. The successor to the big Discord server still exists today. In May 2024, BOS will release a new game after a long time, the "Banking Tycoon", in which a lot of investment has been made. And it was actually worth it. After just one week, active players were visible. The group grew, visits grew, revenue grew and much more went through the roof.
